Jack, if you're like me and millions of other Americans, corporate greed-driven inflation has hit your pocketbook hard.

With the average family spending around $433 more out-of-pocket each month, we need to ensure that federal funding for housing assistance, low-income heating assistance, health care and more is able to meet the increasing need.

Sign and send a message to Congress: Include increases in spending on critically needed programs in the must-pass end-of-year omnibus appropriations bill.

SIGN AND SEND A PETITION
This should be an easy ask. The House just passed a hawkish $847 billion investment in weapons and war that the Senate is expected to approve. If we have money for that, then we definitely have money to help everyday Americans afford gas, food, heat and other basic necessities.

But still, Republicans want to freeze funding for domestic priorities. With higher inflation, flat funding is a harsh cut―one that will lead to even deeper cuts to critical programs for those most in need.

The clock is ticking. If left til next year, a divided Congress will force steep concessions. Now is the time to ensure Congress funds programs to help our families and communities stay afloat.
