Arizona voters soundly rejected the AZ GOP’s statewide slate of election liars this November. But rather than listen to voters, the AZ GOP is doubling down on their lies.

They’ve promoted far-right extremist Wendy Rogers to chair the State Senate election committee – a clear sign they aren’t changing course anytime soon.

While Governor-elect Hobbs is trying to focus on Arizona’s real issues, we know Rogers and her far-right crew will send tons of voter suppression bills to Hobbs’ desk.

The AZ GOP has desperately tried everything they can since it became clear voters rejected their viewpoints this November.

They’ve filed lawsuits and tried to ruin the election certification process. They even sued in court to try to overturn the result in the Arizona Attorney General’s race.

Instead of taking their losses and refocusing, they are letting an extremist like Wendy Rogers control their legislative agenda when it comes to elections as one more desperate attempt.

Wendy Rogers shouldn’t be in charge of anything, much less legislation about our elections. Which means the fight over election lies in Arizona is far from over.
