Republican politicians have launched an all-out assault against our public libraries. If we let them get away with it, they will cause irreversible damage.

Specifically, the GOP wants to ban books that don’t conform with their radical world view. This includes anything from LGBTQ+ rights to Black history – no topic is off limits.

If we let them go unchecked, our public libraries will be transformed from beacons of free speech to Republican-censored book stores.
