The Ignatian family shows up with creativity, courage, and resilience—with a collective work for justice that is 25 years strong.
John,
One of the most powerful, tangible parts of ISN’s work is the annual Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice. Each year, we welcome ~2,000 members of the Ignatian network to learn, pray, network, and take action as advocates for justice rooted in faith.
I first attended the Teach-In in 2003 as a student at Wheeling Jesuit University. While I didn’t attend another until I joined the ISN staff in 2016, my career choices, how I engage in my community, and the ways in which I choose to parent my children have been rooted in the faith and justice message of that weekend in 2003.
Now, each year, I'm privileged to be renewed by the power of the Teach-In to inspire and connect leaders for justice. I invite you to take a minute today to check out the highlight video above from this year's event—where we examined the theme of Rooted and Renewed in our 25th year of gathering.
Right now, we have raised $23,495 toward our $96,000 goal for the end of 2022—will you consider making a gift to sustain the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice and all of ISN’s work?
May we all find ways to be both rooted and renewed in our work for justice in this holiday season, and in the new year to come.
Peace,
Kelly Swan
