2022 was a challenging year in many respects.
But you did something special, in all you accomplished through your support of the Pacific Research Institute. 2023 promises even greater victories for liberty, free markets, and the things you and I care about so deeply.
If you haven't already, you’ll soon be receiving a letter from me asking you to join PRI's Reclaiming Liberty Campaign ([link removed]) with an end-of-year, tax-deductible gift in support of our research and educational outreach initiatives. I hope you’ll read it.
In the 40-plus years since our founding, PRI has compiled a record of hard-earned, hard-fought victory after victory. Just in the past year we’ve racked up historic wins for school choice, energy freedom, and market-based health care.
We have big things in store for 2023. Our new Free Cities Center has a truly ambitious agenda that can save our cities from the plagues of violent crime, rampant homelessness, and schools that don’t educate.
On Sunday, the Orange County Register published five editorials by Free Cities Center Director Steven Greenhut and other Center scholars on freedom-based solutions to turn our cities around.
All this work is possible because of you. The PRI community is special: it consists of individuals who believe that liberty and free markets improve the lives of our fellow citizens and permit human flourishing and happiness.
