Hey, it’s Olivia — Ayanna’s Finance Director.
In my time working on campaigns, I’ve noticed something: weeks after an election are a challenging time for grassroots fundraising — and that’s especially true in December.
2022 is turning out to be no different. As of this morning, our email fundraising is down 47% compared to what we had raised at this point in November. To keep up our important work, it’s vital that we get back on track.
That’s why we’re counting on supporters like you, who believe in Ayanna and this movement, to chip in $3 today to help us reach our $8,000 mid-month fundraising goal.
We rely 100% on grassroots donations, because that’s the best way to build a multi-generational, multi-racial, inclusive movement. Our average contribution this year is just $26 — and a large part of our fundraising comes from supporters donating to emails just like this one.
