Next year looks bright and full of possibilities. Whether you want to deeply connect with your peers, expand your network, challenge yourself to level up or pivot in your career, you can turn to Poynter. We trained more than 42,000 journalists in 2022 alone. Many of our alumni also won awards, earned history-making promotions and led innovation in our industry.
Will you be next?
Below is a sneak peek of our 2023 teaching calendar. You’ll find dates, deadlines and instructor information for some of our most popular programming.
"We have fully scheduled our in-person training programs and are thrilled to welcome even more people back to St. Petersburg, Florida, for topics that include personal essay writing, skills sharpening and leadership growth," said Doris Truong, Poynter director of teaching and diversity strategies. "And we've seen how effective and transformative online-only teaching can be, so we have sessions that will connect and support a range of journalists — from early career reporters to senior-level executives."
The best news? This is only the beginning.
