Last week, we asked Team Pete to donate specific dollar amounts that were meaningful to them, and tell us more about the meaning behind the number. We loved reading your submissions. They reminded us that this effort means so much to so many people -- all across the country.

Now, as we embark on the most intense period in the campaign, and are pushing toward this important goal of raising $50,000 from every state before midnight tomorrow, we wanted to share just a few of our favorite supporter messages with you:

"I'm donating $10.81 to Pete. Today would have been my Dad's 81st birthday. He was a Mexican immigrant who served in the US Army and put three kids through college (we are a teacher, cop, and engineer). I think he would have really liked Pete. This one's for him.
