Hellojohn, Happy Holidays!!! You may not know but I love Christmas, winter, snow, sparkly lights, baking, decorating the tree! THE WHOLE THING! But what you may not know is I am OBSESSED with cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies. FFS they are ALL THE SAME MOVIE! You know the plot: A big city career gal, drops everything, throws on her red wool coat, leaves her high powered job and heads to her hometown to use her inexplicable baking skills to save the town’s independent abortion clinic from closing. After a few run-in’s with her high school sweetheart at his dad’s Christmas tree farm, they connect under the gazebo, he professes his love for her and bodily autonomy- and together, from the sale of gingerbread uteri and wreaths, they raise enough money to save the clinic! OK, maybe that’s MY dream Hallmark movie, but c’mon, you would totally watch it! |

On a serious note, as Abortion Access Front winds up the year, I want to take some time to say THANK YOU for sticking by us while my team and I counter the relentless attacks from anti-abortion villains trying to destroy us. Your commitment - whether by listening to our podcast, Feminist Buzzkills Live!, watching our Operation Save Abortion videos, signing up to be a volunteer, or just reading our emails and laughing at our TikToks - You’ve shown so much support for AAF and for the providers and patients who desperately need us all in this moment. YOU are a part of this interminable fight, in this shittiest year for abortion access in the past 50 years, and we appreciate it!

Registering volunteers, educating people about abortion access, providing support for staff and patients - EVERYTHING WE DO is in support of independent abortion clinics across the country. PLUS our relentless data collection and video recording of extremists led to the arrest of ELEVEN people violating federal laws while harassing and blockading clinics. They each face up to 11 years and thousands of dollars in fines - thanks in part to our research. With your support, we can take down even MORE dangerous anti-choice grifters in 2023.
