Friend,

If you thought the COVID lockdowns were terrible, what happens when the government can control how you spend your money during "emergencies?"

President Biden is directing the federal government to explore the idea of a “central bank digital currency” (CBDC), a type of government-issued cryptocurrency.

At first glance, the government getting in on the crypto craze might sound fun, novel, or harmless. But it’s cause for serious alarm.

What would happen if the Biden Administration presses forward with efforts to create a so-called “digital dollar?”

Friend, Central Bank Digital Currency will mean slavery.

One reason Bitcoin is so successful is that it is both permissionless — anyone can use it and can use it how they want — and decentralized, meaning there’s no central authority that can control the currency.

A government-controlled digital dollar would lose these benefits and give the government control of your spending and savings.

My name is Lawrence W. Reed, President Emeritus of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE). We’re educating the next generation about the ideas of liberty and free-market economics through our student seminars, teacher training programs, and engaging online videos and articles.

Friend, I’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 this weekend to fund our FEE in the Classroom program.
Can you help reach the next generation through a gift of $10, $35, $50, or any amount? Click here to donate >>>

A central bank digital currency is nothing more than a back door to a China-style social credit system. It would allow the government to track or even restrict your purchases.

This would open up new avenues for the government to assert control over our everyday lives.

FEE is making sure the next generation doesn't fall for this in the future.

You can support the next generation by sending your gift to FEE here >>>

FEE in the Classroom uniquely challenges students to think outside the box to challenge the mainstream narrative.

This unique program is held in brick-and-mortar and virtual classrooms across the country. Our speakers — acclaimed college professors and successful entrepreneurs — directly engage students through our educational workshops.

In a single day, an average of 75–300 students learn how the core principles of individual liberty and free-market economics apply to their daily lives, communities, careers, and the state of the nation.

FEE in the Classroom demonstrates to the next generation why socialism is a bad idea and establishes a new generation of pro-liberty leaders.

Can I count on you to bring liberty and free-market economics to classrooms?
