Power-Hungry Pelosi Gets A Taste Of Her Own MEDICINE

This circus Pelosi has put on has gone on for too long. How much longer does she really think she can drag this out?

Today Congressman Bradley Byrne (R-AL) took the fight to Pelosi by proposing a resolution to officially censure her for withholding the articles of impeachment.

According to the Gateway Pundit, “Speaker Pelosi’s decision to hold the articles of impeachment against President Trump in a pathetic and unconstitutional attempt to extract concessions from the Senate is an unprecedented abuse of power,” Byrne stated.

“The Constitution grants the House the power to censure its members, the most serious rebuke the House can give a member short of expulsion,” he added. “An adopted censure resolution would require the offending member to stand in the well of the House and have the resolution read aloud. The last censure resolution adopted by the House occurred in 2010.”

Byrne isn't wrong. Just today Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell issued a stark warning to Pelosi that she should hand over the articles and quit holding the Senate hostage so they can "get back to the people’s business."

"Should future House majorities feel empowered to waste our time with junior varsity political hostage situations? Should future speakers be permitted to conjure up this sword of Damocles at will and leave it hanging over the Senate unless we do what they say? Of course not," McConnell said according to the Washington Examiner.
