John,
In this holiday season, we at Live Action embrace this as a time to spread love, joy, and hope. Within this theme, I am thrilled to share our latest video which showcases the greatest gift and embodiment of love -- a child.
“Along for the Ride” illustrates the experience of a family welcoming their child, marking the joyful expectation, preparations, and excitement that should accompany every pregnancy.
Throughout the pregnancy, we are given a glimpse into the unique connection between mother and baby and witness the reactions and impact on the child as his mother creates a perfect environment for her baby to grow in.

The joy of this season is evident through the way the couple interacts with each other and the child inside: they watch fireworks, go ice skating, and treasure the beauty of life together.
John, there are millions who still do not think a preborn baby is a living human who is impacted by and responds to her mother while in the womb.
The truth is, babies in the womb:
- Feel joy
- Feel pain
- Produce tears
- Suck their thumbs
- Respond to light
- Respond to music
- Develop food preferences
- Distinguish languages
- Recognize their mother's voice
We created this video to show the humanity of every preborn child, and to influence the cultural narrative around pregnancy. Congratulating a "mother-to-be" or speaking of a couple who are "going to be parents" contributes to the problem. Instead, we witness to the child's humanity and inherent value in a simple but profound way when we acknowledge the presence of the preborn child and the beautiful new roles of a mother and father in our speech right from the beginning.
Our goal is that this video depicts hope: hope throughout the nine months of pregnancy, and hope when their child is born and has a whole life ahead of them.
Every pregnancy should elicit joy and hope, because something as precious as the gift of an unrepeatable child always reveals joy and hope - no matter the accompanying hardship.
I ask you to consider sharing this video with your friends and family. Now more than ever, the pro-life movement needs videos like this - videos that show the thrill, joy, and beauty of a new child who is along for the ride.
Thank you for all you do to promote a culture of life!
For Life,
Lila Rose
