This past weekend, hundreds of Sunrisers from across the country gathered in Dallas, TX to reflect on our journey so far and launch the next era of Sunrise ❤️

We all came to the gathering because we feel the weight of the climate crisis. And we know that the world doesn’t have to be this way. Together, we can create something better.

Our gathering marked a new start for us towards that vision. One where we feel hope again. One where we step back into our power. One where we all have each other’s backs as we begin organizing cities and towns across the country.

This weekend, surrounded by hundreds of other young people ready and committed to throwing down, reminded us that our movement is powerful. We are growing. And we will take over. Are you in?

We "dreamed and schemed" on how we're going to bring the Green New Deal to schools and communities across the country. We talked about what it means to envision a Green New Deal. We were able to really connect with each other and what we’re fighting for. We committed and grounded in our shared meaning, ready for the work ahead.

Heading into 2023, we’re not slowing down and we’re not stopping. We have a lot to fight for. And we’re excited to finally announce what we’ve been working on. 👀
