John,

Seven years ago today, 200 nations came together and adopted the Paris Climate Agreement, pledging to take action to lower emissions and combat climate change.

When President Joe Biden was elected, he fulfilled his campaign promise and rejoined the Paris Climate Agreement. But it's clear the fight for climate justice isn't close to over.

The writing is on the wall: A changing climate will touch every part of our lives, including national security, food supply, economic stability, and everyday living conditions. Dwight is proudly fighting to address climate change with bold solutions, and he needs to know where you stand on this issue.

Add your name right away if you agree with Dwight that Congress needs to continue investing more in renewable energy to tackle the climate crisis head-on. We owe it to future generations of Americans to build a roadmap to a sustainable future.

There have been some victories in this fight thanks to Democratic leadership. Since taking office, President Biden has signed a series of executive orders targeting climate change.

Dwight and House Democrats helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act — the biggest environmental legislation in American history — to commit $370 billion to fight climate change.

And just this week, government-funded scientific research led to a breakthrough in fusion energy — technology that has the potential to create limitless, zero-carbon power, eliminating the need for fossil fuels.

Still, this tech could be decades away, so in the meantime, we must do more. Dwight is pushing for more radical legislation and action to protect our planet, including the THRIVE Act to combat environmental injustice.

Stand with Dwight and demand more action now. Add your name to the petition and tell Congress to prioritize investing in renewable energy and combat climate change.
