DSA: Pittsburgh Democratic Socialists of America

Hello John, and happy new year!

Next Thursday, 1/16, Pittsburgh DSA will hold our first chapter-wide business meeting of 2020. Can you make it? If so, please RSVP by clicking here!

This month’s meeting will feature an educational segment detailing two possible approaches for supporting Bernie Sanders’ SURGING presidential campaign. Should we coordinate directly with the Sanders campaign, or mount an independent expenditure campaign with fewer financial restraints? We will learn, discuss, debate, and ultimately vote on which path to take!

There will also be singing, reports from our many committees, and miscellaneous additional business to be voted on as a chapter.

The meeting officially begins at 7pm, but please arrive at Community Forge in Wilkinsburg as early as 6:00pm for setup, our monthly potluck, and socializing! There will also be a new member/visitor orientation at 6:30pm -- even if you have never attended an official chapter function, next Thursday is an ideal opportunity to get more involved!

If you need a ride to/from the meeting, or childcare during the meeting, please let us know at the above link!

Let’s hit the ground running and make the 2020s a decade of Socialist revolution! I am excited to see you next Thursday!

In solidarity,

Dan Brown
Communications Chair
