Dear John,
Women and families are struggling to make ends meet, and it’s not getting any easier with rising costs of food, rent, and child care. Last year, families received monthly Child Tax Credit (CTC) payments between July and December, but Congress allowed the expanded CTC to expire—making it harder for families to pay for necessities and putting 3.7 million children in poverty. Congress has one last chance to expand the Child Tax Credit before the end of the year. Will you take action now? [[link removed]]

Take Action to Support Women and Families

Women and families shouldn’t need to decide whether to put food on the table or pay for medicine or the electric bill. Expanding the CTC would help the lowest-income families that need the support most, including to help pay for necessities like food, utilities, and rent.
An expanded CTC will help women take care of themselves and their families. We need Congress to include an expanded CTC in the next tax package. Take action now to help women and families who need it most. [[link removed]]
