Here we go, folks.

Republicans are quietly kicking off the new year with a coordinated, political attack on women's rights.

More than 200 members of Congress, mostly Republican, have signed a brief urging the Supreme Court to "consider overturning" Roe v. Wade. This comes at a time when legal scholars are saying Republicans are forging their "strongest" legal case against choice to date.

Friend, there's no doubt that David Valadao would have joined these 200 Members in attacking choice. In his two terms in Congress, Valadao boasted a 0% rating from the reproductive rights advocates at NARAL Pro-Choice America.

At a moment when Trump has stacked the courts with anti-choice judges, we need leaders in Congress who won't back down in the fight for reproductive freedom. This is as good a reminder as any that elections matter, and why your support in key swing districts like mine is so crucial.
