The fight for voting rights is as old as our nation itself. We’ve made incredible progress in that time – but right now, that progress is in grave danger.

The far right is leading an all-out assault on the voting rights of millions of Americans.

This year, Republican-held legislatures in key swing states like Florida, Georgia, and Arizona all enacted laws to discourage and prevent folks from voting.

Costly, time-consuming photo ID requirements are one of the GOP’s favorite tricks to keep folks locked out of the political process. So last month, I introduced a bill to make sure all eligible voters have access to a no-cost photo ID.

With an incoming Republican House majority, I really need folks like you to help me keep up this fight. Will you join me in reaffirming your commitment to the protection and expansion of voting rights? I need 500 of you to show your support for my bill today.

The right to vote is one of the most sacred pillars of a democracy. Without it, we have no right to call ourselves one.
