December is one of my favorite months, filled with reflection on the past year and hope for what lies ahead. At home we’re preparing for the holidays, while in Washington we have a busy few weeks of session where we need to get important things done before the next Congress begins.
The fact of the matter is that 2023 will be here before you know it, and I was thinking about my own resolutions and wanted to hear from you. I know so many of you are focused on making the world a better place and that’s why you’re here in this fight with me. John, how are you planning to do good, accomplish a goal, or engage in something new in the new year?

In the weeks to come, I’m going back to work to protect our democracy and pass the Electoral Reform Act. Along with my colleagues in the House, we’re going to prioritize protecting reproductive freedoms, lowering costs for healthcare, and taking action for America’s DREAMers.
When we return in January with the new GOP-led Congress, it will not be an easy time. But we must keep the GOP extremism in check and move President Biden’s agenda forward. Let’s get ready for the new year with a resolution to keep up the fight for women, children, and families — share your resolution today: [link removed]
More to come, John.
