Dear John A key mission here at LittleSis is to help build critical research capacity within our movements. We believe that a sharp power analysis combined with the research skills and methods needed /to uncover and analyze how power operates in our society and economy creates a more strategic and interconnected movement that wins more campaigns and attracts more people to our fights for justice. Over the last 13 years we have trained thousands of activists, organizers, researchers, students,
and journalists in the methods and tools we use here at LittleSis to conduct our own power research. Now, we are asking for your support to make this invaluable campaign research accessible to organizers across the country. “If we want to invigorate and shock our members, we call on LittleSis! LittleSis trainings alter the way our members look at their work and our community. After their trainings, our members think of power differently and are ready to wield their own power in
collective ways they weren’t before.” Sarah Buckley, CWA1168 Political Legislative Action Director In 2022 we worked with union members to understand the power networks of their corporate employers, with base-building organizations on research tools to support their campaigns, and with students on research techniques for divestment campaigns on their campuses. We also offered a variety of public trainings on our LittleSis tech showing new and existing users how to use and contribute to the database as well as how to turn their data into compelling visualizations using our popular power mapping tool, Oligrapher. Will you support critical research training for our movements by becoming a monthly LittleSustainer? We are honored to be able to support our partners and our movements through research tools, trainings, and guides. By becoming a LittleSustainer, you will help
us continue to provide these resources and train more power researchers to take on corporate power in their communities! |
