2020 is finally here. The year we defeat not just Donald Trump, but also the man who has arguably done even more damage to our country and our democracy: Mitch McConnell.

Just over a year ago, we launched a grassroots movement called Ditch Mitch with the sole purpose of finally defeating Mitch McConnell and ending the Kentucky senator's political career once and for all. Since then, over 108,000 everyday people have chipped in, and together we've raised over $6 million to take on McConnell and win.

Ditch Mitch is the fastest-growing movement in Democratic politics because we have the best chance we've ever had to defeat Mitch McConnell. Every single poll shows it. Nate Silver has said it. And you can feel it on the ground in Kentucky.

But we need you on our side if we're going to pull off this historic victory.

Mitch only waited 37 minutes after Amy McGrath announced last summer that she was running against him to begin attacking her and lying about her record and positions on the issues.

But Mitch is only just getting started. He's going to spend tens of millions of dollars from his campaign war chest full of money he's taken from Wall Street, Big Pharma, Big Oil, and the NRA. He's going to throw everything he's got at Amy and anyone else who tries to challenge him. McConnell will do and say anything to stay in power so that he can keep giving tax cuts to corporations, gutting Medicare & Social Security, and packing the courts with right-wing judges who will sit on the bench for decades to come.

But with you on the team, nothing can stop us - not Mitch McConnell, his Super PACs, Donald Trump, the billionaires, or the special interests. We've already got momentum on our side. Kentucky voters just voted out their unpopular Republican governor in favor of a Democrat in 2019, proving that the even more unpopular Mitch McConnell can be beat in 2020.

This race is ours for the taking, but we haven't won this yet. Not by a long shot. We need you and every grassroots donor across the country united to pull off what will be the biggest upset in the history of Democratic politics.
