...organize the lab

Dear Friend,

It's our pleasure today to announce the release of Organize the Lab: Theory & Practice. You can read the Foreword and take a look at the Table of Contents on our website.

We would like to thank the contributors for their sustained enthusiasm and patience in seeing this project to fruition. We especially acknowledge the following unions for sharing their inspiring stories presented in this book.

GSOC-UAW Local 2110 at New York University (makingabetternyu.org)

UAW Local 4121 at University of Washington (uaw4121.org)

COGS-UE 896 at the University of Iowa (cogs.org)

WUGWU at Washington University in St. Louis (wugwu.org)

GAGE at Georgetown University (wearegage.org)

MIT GSU-UE at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (mitgsu.org)

SWC UAW Local 2710 at Columbia University (studentworkersofcolumbia.com)

Together, we stand in solidarity with striking student workers at University of California (fairucnow.org) and other academic workers fighting for the rights to live. We hope this book may help illuminate our path to power and create a radical vision of science.

Our magazine is run exclusively by volunteers, mostly student workers, activists, and freelance writers. We devote our labor solely for the pursuit of a science and a society free from the shackles of capital. In keeping with our values, our magazine makes all of our content free and accessible to all. Our income comes only from regular donations and magazine circulation.

Thank you for contributing to the legacy and making possible that radical science carries on.
