Happy New Year! I don't know about you, but I've got a good feeling about 2020 and am ready to get this party STARTED.
Since we began meeting with our MOCs' staff three years ago, we've made a habit of asking them what we should be focusing on. Every single time, the answer has been "the 2020 Census."
The Census is especially crucial for us here in California. In fact, we might even lose a congressional seat for the first time in our state's history. Billions of dollars in federal aid are at stake.
The guest speaker at this month's general meeting will be Bret Putnam, Partnership Specialist with the U.S. Census Bureau. Please join us to hear the many ways we can all help get a complete and accurate count, giving California the representation and aid it deserves!
