We are at an uncertain time in our line of work. While politics and the effects on people’s lives don't revolve around election season, our line of work does. Typically, without a public conversation on the “next big election,” our line of work can see a total standstill. We risk that loss of progress in the next few months.

While our mission remains the same - to deliver to rural and working-class people and communities, our resources and potential dwindle. Simply put, if elections aren’t in the news, people lose their jobs and the ability to meet ends. When we have fewer people on the team, less work can get done because we cannot divide that work evenly among us. In turn, this means that less of our message is spread and fewer of our voices are heard.

Election seasons come and go but this work continues long after votes are counted and winners are announced. Our priority is finding the right people for the jobs at hand and the ability of those people to see them through. That means that we will spend ample time looking for new candidates, important upcoming races, and more ways to improve the lives of people in this country.

That is why your continued support is so imperative to this work. We won’t stop fighting for a better America once the national spotlight has turned away from our causes. We will continue to look forward and seek out those in communities that have the same dedication and commitment that we have in this fight.

This is why we are coming to you with urgency and humbly ask that you continue to support our mission. Again, we know that outreach and upholding our promises to rural America will not wane once the elections are said and done. So we ask that you invest your trust in us to continue to move forward.
