You know we don’t like sending these emails in the middle of your Sunday. We get how it can be pesky sometimes. Trust us, we get a bunch of emails like this, too!

The truth is we (and many of the other candidates and groups you get emails from) rely on donations we receive from these emails to power our work. So when fewer people are opening our emails, or donating, it means we have to pick up the pace to make up ground.

That’s exactly what’s happening. We have a mid-month deadline coming up this Thursday, and right now we’re behind. The months after an election are always a rough time for fundraising, so we planned for this. But we’re even tracking behind where we expected to be by this time in the month.
