Money has always been our #1 obstacle. And the establishment has a seemingly endless supply of it. Since this is a grassroots funded organization, we don’t have billionaire donors or corporate PACs to fall back on when our fundraising slows down.

No other organization in the progressive arena does what we do. We don’t simply endorse candidates, write them a check, and say goodbye. When we recruit a candidate to run for Congress, we embed ourselves into their campaigns and provide unparalleled strategy and support.

We’re not only supporting transformational candidates as they run for Congress, but also building the long term infrastructure that allows progressive, anti-establishment candidates to run, compete, win and begin the work of building a better future for all of us.

Unfortunately, over the last year, we’ve seen an unprecedented slowdown in our fundraising and we’re now in a tough position as we budget for 2023.

If we don’t turn this around before the end of the year, we’re going to have to start looking at where to make budget cuts.
