This week, a Big Tech BOMBSHELL broke: We learned that during the buildup to the 2020 election, the FBI warned of a “hack and leak operation” of Twitter relating to Hunter Biden. The FBI did this despite the fact they were already in possession of Hunter’s laptop and knew the materials were not hacked or stolen. Upon seeing the New York Post story in mid October, Twitter removed the story under their hacked materials guidelines.

Elise Works With House Republicans to Expand Mental Health Services for Border Patrol Agents
Elise has always led to ensure our brave border patrol agents have the resources they need. She recently introduced a plan that would provide vital funding to the Customs and Border Protection over the course of six years in order to improve the mental and emotional health services available. Elise stated:

“I am proud to work to ensure our brave Border Patrol agents have the mental health support they deserve. Many hardworking Border Patrol agents in my district, who protect our northern border, have been forced in no-notice deployments to fight Joe Biden’s crisis on the southern border. Elise continues to lead the charge to expose Biden’s border crisis, as migrant crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border surge. Last month alone, there were 70,000+ known “gotaways" at our southern border, and this is only expected to get worse with the ending of Title 42.

Elise Secures Support for Fort Drum and Votes to End Military COVID Vaccine Mandate
As a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, this week, Elise voted to advance the final bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2023. This included a number of provisions to specifically help Fort Drum, the 10th Mountain Division, and Upstate New York and the North Country’s military families, including:
- A 4.6% pay raise for servicemembers
- Expanding child care options, including at Fort Drum
- Ending the COVID-19 vaccine mandate on active and reserve servicemembers and stopping servicemember separations for failure to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Securing $10 million for short range reconnaissance drones used by the 10th Mountain Division.Elise said:

“As the leading advocate in Congress for Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division, I am proud to give Upstate New York and the North Country a seat at the highest levels and deliver initiatives to protect and strengthen the Fort Drum community, fully equip our troops, increase our military readiness, and support the families of servicemembers in our district. Our country must never fall behind in providing for a strong national defense, which is why I am proud to bring an end to the Biden Administration’s authoritarian COVID vaccine mandate on our servicemen and women that has weakened our military recruitment and impaired our military ranks. Additionally, I have secured several provisions to support Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division, the most deployed Army division
since 9/11, which is integral to our nation’s military readiness. I am proud to have advanced a defense bill that puts taxpayer dollars to good use by strengthening our military and providing a well-deserved pay raise to our brave men and women in uniform as they work to keep us safe.”

Fighting to Hold Tish James Accountable: New York Republicans Call For Special Prosecutor to Investigate James’ coverup of sexual harassment.

highlighted an Op-Ed by former Attorney General candidate Michael Henry and echoed his calls for Corrupt Kathy Hochul to appoint a special prosecutor to conduct an investigation into Tish James’ coverup of sexual harassment. Elise said:

Elise joined her colleague Rep. Rick Crawford in introducing the Agricultural Foreign Investment Transparency Act to address the national security threat we face of foreign adversaries buying U.S. agricultural land. Elise said:

I am proud to shine a light on the malign influence of the Chinese and our other foreign adversaries who are buying up our land, undermining our farmers, and threatening our nation’s security.
