This week, SCOTUS heard oral arguments on Moore v. Harper – a case that’s CRITICAL to Trump’s 2024 election plans and could UPEND our very democracy by allowing state legislatures to decide the winner of elections instead of voters.

Conservatives in this case are arguing in favor of installing an “independent state legislature doctrine,” which would allow any state with a GOP state legislature to OVERRIDE the popular vote – and Democratic victories – in our elections! This puts our very democracy at risk.

Republicans know that Trump’s deeply unpopular and can’t win fair and square, so this is their best path to victory in 2024. Winning this case is so important to Donald Trump – who recently suggested that the U.S. Constitution be “terminated” – that he and his cronies are doing everything they can to influence the Court.
