URGENT ACTION NEEDED: A Shell plastics factory MALFUNCTIONED just two weeks
after opening!
Picture this: an ominous orange glow hangs in the night sky. Flames erupt from a
field of towering metallic structures. This is what Beaver County, Pennsylvania
residents saw when a brand-new Shell petrochemical factory malfunctioned.
Shell’s factory spews TOXIC FUMES and POISONOUS CHEMICALS into the surrounding
air and water. While Shell executives rake in the cash, people exposed to this pollution could
suffer from respiratory damage and liver, brain, or heart problems. Some families have even had to MOVE AWAY to escape constant fear for their
children’s health. Friend, will you take immediate action to hold Shell
accountable for its toxic pollution?

[[link removed]]The plastic produced inside the Shell plant is bad news. Over time, it breaks
down into microplastics that infect the water we drink, the food we eat, and even the air we breathe! In fact, the average person consumes a credit card’s worth of plastic EVERY WEEK!
With every minute that passes, junkyard plastic piles grow taller and single-use
plastics pollute our communities . But Shell continues to pump out new plastic and threaten the health of Beaver
County residents in the process. YOUR ACTION could give Shell the push it needs to stop recklessly harming the
community it’s operating in. We need 2,046 more people to stand up to Shell by 11:59pm TONIGHT. Add your
name!
