Good afternoon,

This email is to update you on an important CCRS release and the timeline for when you can begin practicing in the PREproduction environment before the release happens.?

The release is set for deployment on Jan. 9, 2023.? It includes an improved manifest feature, bug fixes and implementation of a few other features.

What changes are being made?

* Manifest changes
* Streamlined manifest submissions for licensees and integrators
* Use of a .CSV file to upload manifest data
* .CSV file validation and notification
* CCRS will send email notifications:
* To inform the sender, receiver, integrator (as appropriate) and transporter (as appropriate) of a successful *ManifestDetails .CSV* file upload. The manifest file, in PDF format, will be attached to the email.
* For most errors in the Manifest .CSV file, the sender will receive a ?*CCRS errors*? email, listing identified errors in the .CSV file.
* For a few errors where the system cannot be specific about the type of error, the user will receive a ?*CCRS Process Error*? email.

* Updated user guides, .CSV file data specifications and more on the *CCRS Resources Page* [ [link removed] ] will be available Friday, Dec. 9.

* Other changes
* Modifications to other .CSV files (in addition to the manifest):
* Removed harvest cycle field from the *Plant .CSV.*
* Changes to the *Product .CSV* valid values for propagation material, harvested material, and intermediate product as detailed in the CCRS Upload User Guide.
* Addition of license number to *Strain .CSV.*

* Modifications to be in compliance with state law HB 1210 about terminology:
* Changes to the naming of the intermediate product and end product valid values to reflect the directive for LCB to use the word ?cannabis? instead of ?marijuana.?
* *NOTE:* Any user-defined names (such as strain name) can still use the word (or variations of) ?marijuana.?

How does this impact YOU?

* Beginning Dec. 12, 2022 you can use the new CSVs (for manifest, strain, plant) for reporting and manifest generation. These new files will *ONLY* work in the PREproduction (testing/practice) environment from * 12, 2022 to Jan. 8, 2023.*
* Documentation including an updated upload user guide and updated .CSVs for the new formats will be published on the *CCRS Resources Page* [ [link removed] ]* on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022*.
* Between Dec. 12, 2022 and Jan. 9, 2023 the new files must be used for any PREproduction practice.
* However, *for required reports, you will still need to use the current manifest, strain and plant .CSV files you are entering into the system now*.
* On Jan. 9, 2023, the manifest, strain and plant .CSV files *currently in use* *will no longer be accepted in CCRS*. On that date you *must* use the updated .CSV files and valid values in the Upload User Guide found on the CCRS Resources Page [ [link removed] ].
* If an old .CSV format (the ones currently in use in CCRS) is used *_on or after Jan 9._*_ *the upload will fail.*_
* *On Jan. 9, the current web form will no longer be in use*, and the new manifest report .CSV upload will be used by licensees.

We hope you will spend some time trying out the changes before Jan. 9. Expand the graphic below for a timeline and stay tuned for future updates.
