This week, I was happy to announce Advaitha Motkuri, from Richland High School, as the winner of this year's Central Washington Congressional App Challenge.
Her app, People's Pupil: A Detection in Intoxication, would use pupil size to detect levels of intoxication. If a person is intoxicated, the app would immediately call an Uber for them.
Each year the Congressional App Challenge highlights the bright minds of our nation's future leaders in STEM, computer science, and coding skills.
Congratulations Advaitha, I am confident that you and other Central Washington students will continue to learn and grow in this field!
