[1]Cori Bush
John —
We know Senator Kyrsten Sinema is in the news today for switching to the
Independent Party, and it's not the first time she's let down the
organizers and activists that fought SO hard to elect her.
Voters, organizers, activists, and her constituents all deserve better, so
today, I wanted to take a minute to remind you *exactly* where Cori
stands:
→ Cori is 100% committed to the people — not corporate interests.
→ Unlike Sinema, Cori won't sell out to the highest bidder, especially not
to Big Pharma or Wall Street.
→ Cori will never waver in our fight for Medicare for All, a Green New
Deal, the People's Response Act, the Keeping Renters Safe Act, or the bold
change everyday families need.
Kyrsten’s bait-and-switch isn’t a new strategy. Frankly, it makes sense —
someone willing to stand up for the progressive values we believe in could
beat her with a primary challenge within the Democratic Party in 2024. But
that selfish desire to maintain power above doing right by your community
doesn’t sit right with us.
A lot of politicians can say they're getting to work for their
constituents, but Cori is one of the rare members who always puts their
constituents first — no matter the political or personal cost.
[ [link removed] ]It's crucial Cori has our support as she leads our progressive movement
in Congress. Can we count on you to join her in working to save lives with
a $5 donation today?

Cori's able to keep her focus on her legislative priorities because of one
simple decision she made before she even ran for office — not to accept a
dime of corporate PAC money.
For Cori, this was an easy decision. But it's not how all of Congress
(*cough* Kyrsten Sinema *cough*) operates. Most members fund their
re-elections through special interest donations — from the pharmaceutical
industry, military contractors, and even the gun lobby.
Because of this commitment, we can guarantee you that you won't ever hear
about Cori abandoning her colleagues or constituents in pursuit of
personal gain. But that also means our campaign relies entirely on
grassroots donations of $5, $15, or whatever people can comfortably
afford.
[ [link removed] ]John, we
wouldn't ask if it weren't important. Every dollar goes directly to
growing our power for the people, so will you chip in $5 or
more today?
In Solidarity,
Adrastos Da Silva
Campaign Manager, Team Cori
