Making a big, lasting change may seem daunting. Especially when there’s a really important mission at stake—like ending the abuse of animals raised for food.

But when I look at the growing momentum in our movement, I realize we have something on our side that our broken food system (and the corporations that profit from that) does not: you.

At every turn, changemakers like you have been there.

When animals are suffering, you don’t look away. Instead, you take action to pressure corporations to do better than leave animals suffering day in and day out on factory farms.

You fuel animal protection activism with your donations, putting the wind in the sails of our shared work to defend animals from the worst harms imaginable.

You vote to pass powerful laws that help protect animals at their most vulnerable. In fact, Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) recently introduced bold new legislation to hold the meat industry accountable for how cruelly it treats farmed animals. With lawmakers advancing the cause to end animal abuse, the momentum in our movement is increasingly evident—and it’s growing.
