It’s no secret that early voter turnout was crucial in the Runoff Election.

Together, we broke down barriers to voting and empowered voters to make their voices heard at the ballot box:

Georgia voters had to overcome obstacles they never should have been forced to face. They showed up and showed out, despite Georgia’s voter suppression law, SB 202, that took away more than two-thirds of voters’ mandatory early vote access and cut the total Runoff period in more than half. Despite these obstacles, we were able to translate your support into tangible resources to get out the vote across Georgia for this important Runoff Election.

This huge early voting turnout is a testament to the impact of our work to push back against voter suppression and build voter power in Georgia. Our mobilization efforts continue to pay off, and we’re sending a clear message that our voices won’t be silenced.

As we reflect on all our accomplishments this year and look towards the work that lies ahead, we’re building up our resources to continue expanding the freedom to vote — before, during, and after election cycles.
