repeated security failures by the US Postal Service and its contractors resulted in Elise for Congress packages being STOLEN on four separate occasions, resulting in nearly $20,000 in stolen donations!
In a letter, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service confirmed that Elise’s campaign was the victim of mail theft:
“The U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), the law enforcement arm of the US Postal Service (SPS), has recovered the enclosed mail as part of a mail theft investigation… your mail piece was targeted for theft.”
