Podia logo

Hey Jay,

Podia helps you keep your courses, products, and community secure by having your customers enter a security code when they log in from a new device.

That makes it harder for people to share logins to your work (instead of buying multiple copies). But it’s not a fit for every creator business, and we’ve heard your feedback that some of your customers have trouble with the verification step.

Starting today, you’ll be able to toggle this feature on or off in your Settings.

This gives you more control over your customers’ experience:

  • If you’re concerned about customers sharing accounts (or prefer your products to be as secure as possible) you can keep security verification on

  • If your customers are struggling with verification, your product relies on sharing accounts, or you just don’t want people to go through an extra step, you can turn it off in one click

This link will take you to your Settings page if you want to make a change right away.

As always, we appreciate your feedback. It’s what helps us keep making Podia a better platform, for you and all creators. If you want to be part of Podia discussions (including the ones that lead to product changes like this), the Podia Creator Community is the best place to be.

I can’t wait to see what you’ll build next,

Spencer Fry, CEO and founder of Podia
