Mary Peltola defeated Sarah Palin in the congressional election using Ranked Choice Voting. Peltola made history as the first Alaska Native elected to the U.S. Congress. Once again, this election showed the power of RCV to give more choice and more power to voters, help elect more women and people of color to office, and elect coalition builders over extremists.
We are also excited to hear from special guests Congressman Dean Phillips, Senator Kelly Morrison, and Representative Cedrick Frazier and share more about our plans to move Ranked Choice Voting forward in 2023. FairVote Minnesota is poised to secure the majority necessary to pass RCV statewide next session, and you can help make that happen!
