Roy always says that he has the best team of supporters in politics, and he’s not wrong!

Not only do you step up (over and over) to invest in Roy’s work for North Carolina, you always speak up when Roy asks for your input. After tabulating the results from our Post-Midterms Priorities Survey, we’re here to report back.

Team Cooper’s top priorities are:

1. Defending Democracy
2. Climate Change
3. Gun Violence

John, having the results from this survey will be key to informing Roy’s leadership for North Carolina, and we can tell you that he agrees that these are among the most important issues facing us right now.

As Governor, he’s already taking key steps to secure voting rights for all of us, protect our climate for generations to come, and curb the gun violence that threatens our communities — and his Democratic allies in the legislature are on board to help.

But without cooperation from Republican state legislators, Roy can’t take the sweeping actions that would have the greatest impact on addressing these issues. We NEED them to work with us to make North Carolina a better place for all of us to live, work, and raise a family.
