Indivisibles,

We woke up this morning still riding high from Senator Warnock’s victory
on Tuesday. And that feeling isn’t going away any time soon. Because a few
weeks from now when our new Senate Democratic majority is sworn in,
Democrats will control committees, have subpoena power to continue
investigations into Trump’s crimes, and have the ability to confirm a
whole lot of judges. Senator Sinema’s self-serving announcement* today
won’t change any of that -- and we certainly aren’t going to let it harsh
these vibes.

All in all, we invested over $300,000 into winning this Senate seat, not
including all the staff time that went to supporting our local Georgia
groups who led the way. That investment helped fund:

📱 Over 870,000 texts sent to recruit volunteers and mobilize voters

📞 Over 80,000 calls

📬 30,000 pieces of mail sent to rural southern Georgia + 10,000 postcards
sent by GA groups

🖥️ GOTV digital ads that launched the weekend before Election Day

🚪 Our Neighbor States Program that brought nearly 100 Indivisible
volunteers to Georgia to boost our door-knocking efforts

📄 Thousands of pieces of custom-designed canvassing lit for GA groups and
volunteers who have knocked on more than 13,000 doors

We accomplished a lot in the four weeks we had to work with before the
runoff, but really, this victory was years in the making. The
on-the-ground organizing that helped win this race didn't all come
together overnight. Our Georgia groups have been building power over
several election cycles, mobilizing their neighbors, and forming
coalitions -- laying the groundwork to achieve those incredible numbers
and secure victory once the runoff was called.

We're committed to making sure our groups have the resources and
infrastructure they need for year-round organizing. So, even though we’re
just coming off a (wild, history-defying, exhausting) midterm cycle, we’re
already looking to the future and setting the foundation for what comes
next.

If we want more victories in 2024 like we had on Tuesday (and we do),
then, believe it or not, that investment starts now. [ [link removed] ]Click here to

The work that local Indivisible groups do in their communities is
transforming this country. With Senator Warnock’s re-election, we have now
won three Senate races in a state that most people would have written off,
and that’s thanks to local groups in Georgia and the folks around the
country who signed up to volunteer. Our investment in the grassroots paid
off, and it will continue to pay off in 2024 with your help.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team

* Senator Sinema (AZ-Pharma) announced she’s leaving the Democratic Party
today, but plans to continue voting the same way and keep her Democratic
committee assignments. We already count other independents in our Senate
majority, so this news isn’t expected to alter the benefits of Warnock
winning a 51st seat. Rest assured we’ll have more to say about Sinema’s
cynical political move, but for now, let’s not give her the satisfaction
of sapping our joy at Tuesday’s win.
