As your Congressman, I deal with significant national issues on a daily basis, but I also have a firm understanding that my job begins and ends each and every day in the communities of the Third Congressional District.

And that is why I am extremely proud to share the news that I have received endorsements from nearly every mayor across our district as we hit the ground running for my re-election campaign for the Democratic Primary on March 17.

From Lockport to La Grange, Oak Lawn to Romeoville, I am honored to have the continued support of so many elected officials in my district who work so hard every day to make their communities great places to live.

Being a commonsense problem solver who is willing to work across both sides of the aisle has enabled me to help spur job creation, improve local transportation and support middle class families. But it has also drawn the ire of the far left and I am now facing a fierce challenge from an opponent with a radical progressive agenda, endorsed by socialist congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) among others.

As we gear up for battle, I am asking for your support for my re-election to help keep commonsense values and leadership alive and well in our communities. With so much at stake in 2020 for IL03 and our nation, your support is needed now more than ever.
