John,
The Endangered Species Act is one of the most effective legal tools on the planet for protecting species at risk of extinction — but it was gutted by the Trump administration. President Biden promised to restore this key law to its full power, but his government has been dragging its feet for two years. And it claims to need another two years to fix the problem.
Tell the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to save the Endangered Species Act now, not later. [link removed]
Polar bears, monarch butterflies, whooping cranes, and other species on the brink don’t have time to wait.
When the administration failed to take immediate action, we sued to force it to rescind the harmful Trump rules. But it fought back, and a judge recently ruled in its favor, delaying the restoration of comprehensive protections to hundreds of species and the places they call home.
It’s time for us to speak up together: The administration needs to hear how much you care.
Tell the Service to revoke the Trump rules immediately and make good on its promise to restore this vital wildlife law. [link removed]
