We talk A LOT about our political work. It’s important. Nothing less than the future of our country and the democracy many of us signed up to defend is on the line.

But that is not all we do. Not even close.

VoteVets was formed in 2006 to help amplify the voices of Veterans and Military families in the legislative debates of our time.

We’ve relentlessly fought Republican attempts to privatize the VA.

We’ve fought against cuts to food stamps programs used by Veterans and Military families.

We’ve defended the jobs of Veterans in the postal service and fishing industry.

We’ve joined forces with unlikely allies to stop the Endless Wars.

Recently, we worked to help pass the PACT Act in Congress.

The list is endless, honestly. Even though it can be overshadowed at times by the political work.

But that work for Veterans and Military families doesn’t happen without you either. Donations fund that work — the lobbying, the ads, the flying Veterans out to take to Capitol Hill.
