We are so excited to welcome Pita Juarez to team Victory Fund! A queer immigrant woman from Guatemala, Pita is a filmmaker, strategist, storyteller, organizer and creative. She most recently served as National Communications and Creative Strategies Director at Chispa, a Latinx organizing program at the League of Conservation Voters, where she helped elevate communities of color working in climate justice at national and local levels. Davante Lewis On-Track to Make LGBTQ History in Louisiana
Victory Fund candidate Davante Lewis, who is running for Louisiana Public Service Commissioner, is on the ballot this Saturday! Political Director Cesar Toledo is on the ground to help with GOTV and ensure Davante wins on Election Day. If elected, Davante would be the first out LGBTQ person elected to state office in Louisiana and the first Black out LGBTQ person ever elected in the state!
