Thanks again for all you've done to fight for democracy this past year, right up to electing Senator Warnock just two days ago. With the holidays approaching, we'll keep sending these short newsletters a few times per week with important information and to let you know about some projects of ours:

* For those of you on Twitter, yet looking for an alternative to Elon Musk's rule by fiat and impulse ownership, including letting prominent neo-Nazis back on the app (not to mention, Trump), I've been enjoying Post as an alternative. Check it out and follow me there if you're already on the app: post.news/cliffschecter 

* The Republican descent into madness has become impossible to ignore. I recently did a video on the fight between white supremacist Nick Fuentes and conspiracy-mongerer Marjorie Taylor Greene. She accused him of being a child and he accused her of being in an adulterous relationship right now!  They both called each other weak leaders (that part they both got right). At the Atlantic, on these same themes, Ron Brownstein talked about the Fuentes & Kanye's nuttery,and Elaina Plott Calabro wrote about how lunatic Marjorie Taylor Greene became who she is.

* Note: Narratives are set when races are called, even if many votes aren't in. Such was the case w/ Sen. Warnock, up just 1% when he was declared the winner. Yet, cities/inner suburbs have many more votes, so they come in later, which is what happened with large chunks of Fulton & DeKalb Counties. Once votes were counted, Warnock won by 3%, ~51.5% to ~48.5%. He added +2% to his November win and overcame Georgia's 3-4% GOP lean by 3%. That's a major victory, and you should talk about it that way if any Republican or media figure claims it was close. In the end, it simply was not.
