Today I officially filed my statement of candidacy to be your next Attorney General.
I'm humbled by the outpouring of support our campaign has received from across Montana. Your help and efforts over the past year have made this day a reality.

Because of you, we are one step closer to taking back this office for the people of Montana.

When we started this campaign, I wanted to show Montanans we could do better. We could elect an Attorney General who works for us--who would fight for our rights and values first.

Back in May, I announced our campaign in my home town of Great Falls, standing next to my family and friends--just a few blocks from where I went to public school.

Like all Montanans, my values were shaped by where I grew up, the lands I cherished and the community around me.

We hit the ground running. Talking to voters about our shared Montana values in communities across the state. From Miles City to Kalispell, to Havre, Browning, and Pablo, we met with community and tribal leaders, and we listened. We learned what's needed in Montana.

That’s why I’m running to be your next Attorney General. We need an Attorney General who works for us again. Who fights for us.
