Friend,
It's now been exactly a month since the election, and I'd like to make several things clear.
First and foremost, a thank-you to our candidates, up and down the ticket, who worked tirelessly for the values that we believe in. These candidates should be congratulated.
Second, we will never give up, we will never stop fighting, and we will always continue to prioritize the interests of the Massachusetts Republican Party's grassroots ahead of any special interests, especially the Beacon Hill go-along-to-stay-entrenched Swamp.
If you recall, during the summer of 2021, major pay-to-play donors with businesses closely tied to the Beacon Hill regime tried to bribe the Republican State Committee with $1 million to cancel me, and by association, you.
We didn't back down then, and we're sure not about to back down now.
Our focus is on the future, but rest assured we will learn from the lessons of 2022.
We will adapt as we move forward. But we will never sacrifice our shared Republican principles of freedom, individual liberty, personal responsibility, and the greatness of the American individual.
This past year has seen so many of you get involved, especially through signature gathering and campaigning. They said we'd never be able to put a referendum on driver's licenses for illegals on the ballot, and you proved them wrong.
Additionally, last spring the disruptive pay-to-play faction within this same party claimed we'd never be able to successfully hold a nominating convention.
We held the convention and got it done. Thanks to Republicans like you, it was a success.
Also, here's some perspective:
For the first time since 2010, the party was not embroiled in post-convention litigation or forced to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlements following substantial allegations that the convention nominating system was rigged and unfair.
That's the standard that needs to be upheld moving forward. That's what the grassroots Republican movement here in Massachusetts deserves.
Our party did everything by the book, and we built upon that dogged sense of determination throughout the summer and into November.
