The tale of the GA Senate race can be summed up in one picture:
We lost because Republicans let our nominee get outspent by nearly $100 million. If you were in Georgia, you felt the weight of the quarter billion dollars of negative ads that the Democrats dropped on Herschel... all as the GOP stood silent.
It is a tale I know well.
Nancy Pelosi dropped $6 million of lying ads against me. Now, I raised more than anyone else in my district, Republican or Democrat, ever had- over $2 million. But much like Herschel, I did not get the help I needed from outside sources.
Like Herschel, I suffered a narrow loss- all while moving my district once again to the right.
The lesson I learned from these narrow losses? That a non-Swamp candidate cannot count on the Swamp's help. We must unite the party, but we will do it ourselves.
I united my party. And when the lines in my district get redrawn before the 2024 election, I am the Republican who will win here!
