I have an important and exciting update for you, as we just secured another
legal victory last night! But I’ll get to that in a moment.


As I explained yesterday, Oregon voters gutted the Second Amendment with just
50.6% of the vote.


Our God-given rights should NEVER be decided on by the whim of voters – let
alone a 50.6% majority.


Unless we defeat Oregon’s gun control law, other anti-gunners across the
country will put similar referendums on the ballot and let voters stripyou of
your constitutional rights through a simple majority.


That’s why Gun Owners Foundation has taken the state of Oregon to court to
nip this tyrannical trend in the bud before it infects the rest of the nation.


I’m pleased to report to you that Gun Owners Foundation successfully secured a
temporary restraining order on Tuesday to block this unconstitutional law.

After GOF secured a temporary restraining order, Oregon’s anti-gun Attorney
General urged the state supreme court yesterday to intervene and overturn our
victory.


The supreme court refused, however, leaving our hard-fought win in place. This
means that Oregon’s gun control law, which was supposed to go into effect
today, remains blocked thanks to our lawsuit!


This is great news, but the battle is not over.


We will be appearing before the judge again next Tuesday – when the temporary
restraining order is set to expire – to argue for a Preliminary Injunction.

Here’s what Oregon’s Bloomberg-funded anti-gun measure does:


❗️Bans magazines over 10 rounds
❗️Requires a permit to purchase any firearm
❗️Requires a training course, application fee, fingerprinting, and a
duplicative background check to obtain the permit-to-purchase


This new law will make Oregon one of the most restrictive gun control states
in the union.


Oregon police say they don’t have the manpower to provide the required
training for gun purchasers, and that no one in the state will be able to
complete the in-person firearm safety training which the law requires.


As a result, gun stores are reportedly planning to go out of business because
of this law, which is exactly what the anti-gun Left wants!


No doubt, anti-gunners will now see this as a powerful new blueprint to impose
their radical agenda in other states.


All they’d need to do is spend millions of dollars on hysterical ads to
deceive voters and then have their operatives harvest enough ballots until just
50.1% of voters have voted for gun control – and voted YOUR rights away.


That’s why Gun Owners Foundation immediately sprang into action to fight back
against Oregon’s anti-2A measure.


In fact, we are also involved in a federal lawsuit against Oregon’s anti-gun
measure to ensure we’re fighting on every front possible.


In the federal suit, the case has forced the Attorney General of Oregon to
request a two-month stay on implementing the permit to purchase a firearm.

knock down this law as unconstitutional and end this dangerous trend of letting
