"Deere & Co. to lay off 57 from Davenport Works on Jan. 6"
-Quad-City Times

Friend,

Just this week, Deere & Co. laid off ANOTHER round of employees. According to the Quad-City Times, 57 more workers were let go this past Monday in response to "current market conditions."

Those market conditions refer to Trump's disastrous trade war with China.

It's no secret that the burden of this trade war is placed on the shoulders of farmers and working families. So why, when our neighbors are directly impacted by this ongoing trade war, does Joni Ernst do nothing? Is she so committed to partisan panhandling that our livelihoods don't matter?

We shouldn't stand for it. Joni Ernst was elected to serve the people of Iowa, and instead, she furthers Donald Trump's agenda. Sign our petition and demand an exit plan for this disastrous trade war.

These headlines continue to add up -- in November, 113 Iowa natives were laid off indefinitely. Now, another 57 Iowans are going home without a job.

This trade war cannot operate at the cost of American families for a moment longer. Senator Ernst must uphold her obligation to our communities and fight for our prosperity, not Trump and his disastrous trade wars.

If you agree with us, sign our petition and demand an end to this trade war. Tell Joni and Donald Trump that Iowans are done paying the price for his ineptitude.

Don't let another family suffer,
