Events & Fundraisers

Dear friends of the Fund,

As the season of giving marches on, we remain aware of just how many people in the performing arts still need our help. If you'd like to contribute to making sure our community stays vibrant and healthy, here are some things you can do:

  • Visit entertainmentcommunity.org/2022match to make a donation. Now through December 31, all donations up to $75,000 will be matched!
  • You can host a JustGiving Fundraiser if you want to invite a larger audience to tune in to your special event or support us via any fundraising efforts you’re leading.
  • You can also launch a Facebook Fundraiser and help spread the word about our work.
  • If you shop on Amazon, you can simply go to Smile.Amazon.com, select the Entertainment Community Fund as your charity of choice, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of eligible purchases—with no fees or extra cost to you.
  • Dedicate a commemorative brick at the Actors Fund Home, engraved with the name of someone you wish to honor and celebrate.

We are so grateful for all that you do to support a life in the arts. Happy holidays, and enjoy this week's events.

August Wilson Theatre

Give the gift of live theater for the holidays while supporting a life in the arts! Producer’s Picks tickets are donated by the producers so your entire ticket purchase goes to support the Entertainment Community Fund’s programs and services.

This bittersweet comedy is the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreamed of a life on the stage. Everyone told her she'd never be a star, but then something funny happened—she became one of the most beloved performers in history, shining brighter than the brightest lights of Broadway.

Starring Lea Michele and featuring some of the most iconic songs in theatre history including “Don’t Rain On My Parade,” “I’m the Greatest Star” and “People,” Michael Mayer’s bold new production marks the first time Funny Girl has returned to Broadway since its debut 58 years ago.
